Gene has a proven track record of developing solutions that build brands while driving exceptional business growth– and the results have been recognized across the industry.

She is well versed in leading accounts with national and local marketing plans, and her expertise spans across online and offline channel across a diverse range of industries, including ecommerce, financial services, retail, telecom, CPG, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
Mia Cosgrove, SVP, Managing Partner
Mia is a spirited and strategic leader here at Horizon with experience managing brands with multiple products. She has extensive experience with the hybrid approach of brand building, while also adeptly driving acquisition. Along with her media expertise and deep understanding of consumers and a love of marketing B2B, her media neutral approach ensures clients marketing campaigns are truly holistic. With experience across national and local brands who are seasonally driven, and in extremely competitive categories she brings valuable insights which deliver success for clients. Since joining Horizon she has provided senior leadership on a variety of accounts including Altice, Weight Watchers, Atlantis Bahamas, Vonage and SquareSpace.
Mike O’Connor, SVP, Activation
Michael joined Horizon Media in 2012 as Director of Performance Media, with a focus on improving ROI for clients across all sales funnel activity and along the ever evolving consumer journey. Over the past four and a half years, Michael’s grown the Search practice 10x and has, most recently, won the Bing Growth Agency of the Year Award. As VP of Performance Media at Horizon, Michael brings a practitioner’s knowledge of Paid and Owned Media to a strategy- and product-oriented approach to clients’ business objectives.
Katie Comerford, SVP, Digital
As lead of Digital for Horizon Next, Katie thrives on the constant evolution of digital media and bringing emerging and new opportunities to her clients to solve business needs. Her experience has been rooted in digital throughout her career with a background in strategy, planning, activation, ad technology, data & analytics, search and social. Katie not only has a passion for travel, but relevant category experience working with Atlantis Bahamas and Texas Tourism.
Katie drives new thinking and innovation, she oversees that all digital activations are best-in-class. Her work has been awarded an Effie, Media Plan of the Year Award, Journal of Financial Advertising and Marketing Award, Cable Fax Best of the Web, and a W3 award for Integrated Media Campaigns. Prior to her current role at Horizon, Katie has lead digital strategy and activation for her clients at both full service and media specific agencies in Texas and New York. Katie is a graduate of Texas Tech University.
Julianna Roding, VP, Planning & Analysis
Juliana is a VP on the Advanced Analytics team at Horizon Next. She has a master for Statistics from Cornell University and has over six years of experience building and interpreting media mix models across a multitude of verticals. It is her passion to leverage advanced analytics and cutting-edge software to build meaningful models and impactful dashboards to help make informed spending decisions. Her philosophy is to understand the nuances of every businesses before running a model, as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to analytics.
